These brownies are so delicious and pack a serious energy boost. Let's get into it...


1 bar of 85% Joaihú Dark Chocolate

4 Tablespoons butter

1.5 cups Organic Sugar (we used coconut sugar)

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 farm fresh eggs

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup all purpose flour (we used locally milled flour from Barton Springs Mill)


1. Preheat Oven to 350F

2. Line a square baking pan with parchment paper

3. Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler

4. Whisk in sugar. Temper the egg mix with a little bit of the cooled chocolate mixture. Then whisk in all the chocolate.

5. Fold in the flour and salt.

6. Transfer to baking dish and sprinkle more chocolate on top if you're feeling wild.

7. Bake for 20 minutes or until skewer comes out clean

8. Hand out the forks.
